as a child i experienced the truth of in season. knowing the limits of grows, blooms, opens up, bears fruit—is ready. and i held in my hands the results of the right time.
now i have met the veneer of ripe and ready. a have it now, just as good, the cost is not much more for taste-less contentment.
cost sacrifice in the wait. but greater cost in the make. the take. in the out of season.
it can cost peace.
it can cost a path.
it can cost prosper.
it can cost pure.
