it would be the whole world if my heart had it’s way.
it would be:
contentment and knowing they are counted worth the while.
hope even when hands are empty.
sure steps towards plans promised for their good.
freedom from grasping for love….the wholeness that happens when it comes to rest on you.
a home that travels with them. in suitcases, boxes and bags—knowing it is forever.
the delight and looking for of youth, the peace and joy of wisdom’s age.
hands that are open to giving, not fearful of receiving.
understanding of doors both opened and closed.
the strength required to change direction.
a heart that keeps sight of one another.
spirit softened to Spirit’s prompting.
journey towards a savior who is nearest of all.
“but the angel said to them, “do not be afraid; for behold, i bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of david there has been born for you a savior, who is christ the lord.”
